I’ve known you for 6 months na, since December 2012. Thank you for everything, all the help and asar here and there. Thank you din nung paggawa sa poster chu chu sa Meet Up natin last week. I know last minute yun and thank you. I can still remember nung first time tayo nagkita nung December dun sa Calda, and you were like, “Tumblr?” and I was like.. “What?” HAHAHAHA. It was so funny. I’m just so glad to meet someone like you, Ate Ash. Happy 18th Birthday! :)

Tips for incoming IIT freshmen students by Kim Ashley D.E
I’m not really a good student or whatevs. But I hope these tips will help you survive college life in IIT. Haha. Enjoy!
1. Walk within the pedestrian lane –always.
2. Always wear your I.D. If kapuyan ka you can take it off, but make sure pag-abot nimo sa covered walk nakataod nag balik kay kung dili, GG.
3. If you have a laptop/netbook/other gadgets, pag-ready ug ballpen upon entering the gate kay mag sign-up jud na (kadalasan man gud na ballpen ihatag sa guard kay dili muagi).
4. If you want Wifi, kusog ang wifi sa CASS, CSM, and CED.
5. Ang pag pronounce sa CBAA kay SEE-BEE-AAH-AAH, dili SEE BEE AY.
6. Ayaw ibutang ang I.D sa bulsa
7. Ayaw pagpa-sipsip sa teachers kay dili na mutalab, labaw na sa CSM.
8. Lami ang pancit canton sa IDS canteen.
9. Kung muagi kas Himantayon Avenue, ayaw paso like a model kay tutukan jud ka. If normal raka mulakaw, tutukan japon ka. Ayaw nalang agi.
10. Dapat naa kay back-up files sa imu USB kay kung magpa-print ka sa school—andam nalang sa pinakagamhanan na VIRUS.
11. Labhi pirmi imung I.D chord kay pagmulagum, yuck. Ew.
12. Make friends but stay cool, ayaw ipa-over kay mura kag desperado ana, libakon na dayun ka, oktnxbye.
13. If you’re an English major, ayaw ka shock if mag-inenglish imo classmates sa imo on your first day. (Abi pud ana nila Englishera ka, haha)
14. No USB? Balik nalang Highschool.
15. Don’t bring a whole yellow pad paper kat mahimo kang Educational store ana. Just bring 5 pieces or you buy the tulo piso over the store.
16. Don’t sleep in the library kay maulawan jud ka. (Ang uban musulod ra kay magpa-aircon, LUH)
17. Respect your teachers.
18. Dili parehas ang mga orasan sa SCS, CED, and sa CASS. Kung taga CASS ka, ayaw nag tan-aw sa orasan sa SCS kay ma-late jud ka.
19. Dili ka maka-Facebook if mag wifi ka sa IIT. Kung gusto ka mag FB, wait until 5pm or lunchbreak, or Saturdays.
20. Usahay ra ang gwapo sa IIT, so lower your standards guys. (If ever nay gwapo, siguraduha na dili pud gwapo iya ganahan)
21. Kung niwang ka sa first year, mutambok ka pagka 4th year. Kung tambok ka first year, niwang ka pagka fourth year.
22. Ready na sa eyebags
23. Walay uniform sa IIT, unless nursing ka or HRM, or IT, or CED. I-ready na daan ang mga sanina, labhi daan.
24. Pwede ra balikon ang pants mga 3 times, wala ray makabantay ana.
25. Ayaw jud ug shift, unless necessary or advice to shift na.
26. Girls: dili na uso magpakuyog sa CR.
27. Ayawg kalibang sa IIT kay nay possibility dili ma-flush.
28. If mabagsak kag Math 17, ayaw ambak sa overpass. Kaon nalag icecream sa McDo, tag P15 ra.
29. Maanad kag lakaw ikaw ra isa, unless FC ka.
30. Dili tanan ga-eyeglasses genius, OA lang jud ang uban.
31. Ayaw palit ug daghan na notebooks, nay chance isa ray ma gamit.
32. I-ready ang kwarta sa PHOTOCOPY.
33. If wala kay friends, okay rana. Dili pa end of the world.
34. Love your enemies. Dili na uso away2 sa college, pang highschool rana.
35. Dili na uso ang pamahaw ug tulog. Pero paningkamote na makakaon jud ka.
36. USO ANG KAPE UG COBRA SA COLLEGE. (PS. Makadaot ang cobra)
37. Walay na card para sa grades sa IIT. Makita na nimu imu grades online. Wala nay meet the parents, so safe naka. Unless, teacher imung mama, goodluck! Mas una pa sya makabalo kaysa imu.
38. Ayaw pagbasa pag mag report, pastilan, college na intawon ka.
39. Ayaw padala/pa-intimidate sa mga “Sikat” kay dili na sila sikat, ga damgo rana. :D
